Accreditation—a mark of distinction

Saratoga Retirement Community is fully accredited by CARF-CCAC, the nation’s only accrediting body for CCRCs. CARF-CCAC accreditation means that the community has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors that it is committed to conforming to CARF-CCAC’s accreditation conditions and standards. Communities that earn CARF-CCAC accreditation are commended on their quest for quality programs and services. CARF-CCAC accreditation demonstrates a program’s quality, transparency, and commitment to the satisfaction of persons served.

At the conclusion of the accreditation process, CARF-CCAC issued the following statement:  “Saratoga Retirement Community demonstrates substantial conformance to the standards for a CCRC. Through interviews with residents, staff, and board members, it is obvious that the community exists to serve its residents. This is evident in the commitment of the board, the dedication of the staff, the satisfaction of the residents, the financial condition of the community, the strategic planning of the organization, and the fulfillment of its mission.”
